8. Play Misty for Me (1971, Clint Eastwood)

9. Rolling Thunder (1977, John Flynn)
10. Blow Out (1981, Brian De Palma)

Info and Comments:
Doppelganger is about Drew Barrymore being stalked and terrorized by her evil doppelganger who is trying to kill her family. The entire time I was watching it, all I could think was "This is the reason I watch movies. To see things like this." Seriously, it's incredible.

To Live and Die in LA is about William Petersen as a good guy gone crazy pursuing sleazy counterfeiter Willem Dafoe, and it's William Friedkin's best movie. The first third of Strange Circus is about child abuse, and it's really dark and upsetting, and had it continued in that direction, it probably would've been the best film I saw all year, but instead it becomes about an author who is writing the story we just saw, and it's disappointing at first, but then still really good, but then the last third is kind of shitty and there's a "villian" character who is way dumb. The Dead Pool is the last film in the Dirty Harry series, and it features the greatest car chase sequence ever filmed.

The Curve is Dead Man on Campus, but with Matthew Lillard and a billion random twists at the end. The Little Girl Who Lives Down the Lane stars Jodie Foster as a kid taking care of herself, and Martin Sheen is also in it, and is really creepy. Willard is about a young man who can communicate with rats and get them to eat Ernest Borgnine. Play Misty for Me is about Jessica Walter stalking Clint Eastwood.

Rolling Thunder is about William Devane getting revenge on the thugs who killed his family. Blow Out is about John Travolta trying to solve a murder.

The Top 10 Action Movies I Watched In 2007
1. The Rock (1996, Michael Bay)

2. Safety Last! (1923, Fred C. Newmeyer & Sam Taylor)
3. Point Break (1991, Kathryn Bigelow)

4. The Incredibles (2004, Brad Bird)
5. Armageddon (1998, Michael Bay)
6. The Killer (1989, John Woo)
7. Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003, Jonathan Mostow)
8. Out for Justice (1991, John Flynn)
9. Apocalypto (2006, Mel Gibson)
10. Silent Assassins (1988, Lee Doo Yong & Scott Thomas)

The Rock is about Ed Harris threatening to blow up San Francisco from Alcatraz, so Nicolas Cage and Sean Connery have to break into Alcatraz to stop him, and holy shit, this movie is incredible and hilarious.

Safety Last! is about Harold Lloyd climbing a tall building and hanging onto a clock in a famous sequence that fucking deserves its fame. Point Break is about Keanu Reeves as an FBI agent going undercover to catch Patrick Swayze, who is a bank robber and a surfer, and it's a very tender and heartbreaking story.

The Incredibles is a superhero movie by Pixar, and it's great. Armageddon is about Bruce Willis and a hundred other big names beating up an asteroid headed toward Earth. The Killer is about a hitman and a cop falling in love and shooting a zillion people. Terminator 3 is about Nick Stahl as John Connor trying to not get killed by a badass, unfuckingstoppable Terminatrix, and this movie is incredibly underrated. Out for Justice is about Steven Seagal and his quest for fucking justice. Apocalypto is about some Mayan guy on the run or something, and it's hella fucking riveting. Silent Assassins is about Flash Gordon fighting ninjas, and Linda Blair is also in it, but doesn't do much.

The Top 15 Horror Movies I Watched In 2007

4. The Burning (1981, Tony Maylam)
5. The Gore Gore Girls (1972, Herschell Gordon Lewis)

11. Christine (1983, John Carpenter)
12. Cujo (1983, Lewis Teague)
13. Torso (1973, Sergio Martino)
14. Lord of Illusions (1995, Clive Barker)
15. I Drink Your Blood (1970, David E. Durston)

Opera is about a killer who tapes needles to a girl's eyes so she can't blink and is forced to watch people getting killed.

Fright Night is about Herman from Herman's Head and Marcy from Married with Children and Roddy McDowall fighting a vampire, and I think it's my favorite vampire movie. The Hitcher is about Rutger Hauer terrorizing C. Thomas Howell.

The Burning is a slasher movie that's pretty much just another Friday the 13th movie, but with a different killer, and Jason Alexander is in it, and he has hair, and he's great. The Gore Gore Girls is gory ridiculousness from HG Lewis.

Night Warning is about Susan Tyrrell not wanting her nephew to move away for college, so she goes crazy and starts killing people. Firestarter is about Drew Barrymore being able to start fires with her mind. Possession is about, um, people arguing? And then there's a monster, sort of? I don't even know, but it's all really stressful and tense. From Beyond is about the effects of overstimulating the pineal gland, and Barbara Crampton is crazy and great, and Jeffrey Combs is also great, and so is Ken Foree for that matter. Cemetery Man (aka Dellamorte Dellamore) is about Rupert Everett killing zombies at a cemetery, and his assistant is amazing, and there's occasional dumb arty shit that ruins things, but for the most part, it's all swayze.

Christine is about a killer car. Cujo is about a rabid dog. Torso is about a killer killing people, that's all I really remember. Lord of Illusions is about Scott Bakula investigating a magician who is maybe using actual magic. I Drink Your Blood is about killer hippies.

Honorable Mentions: Satan's Little Helper, Pro-Life, The Haunting, Lemora: A Child's Tale of the Supernatural, Nightbreed.

The Top 4 Christmas-Themed Horror Movies I Watched In 2007
1. Elves (1990, Jeff Mandel)

2. Silent Night, Deadly Night 5: The Toy Maker (1991, Martin Kitrosser)
3. Night Train Murders (1975, Aldo Lado)
4. To All a Good Night (1980, David Hess)

Elves is about an elaborate plot cooked up by the Nazis to have a weird-looking killer elf rape a virgin teenager who is the product of incest in order to breed a superhuman.

Silent Night, Deadly Night 5: The Toy Maker is about toys that attack and kill people, and I won't spoil the fucking insane ending, but it involves a robot. Night Train Murders is about a couple of girls on a train who are tortured and killed by two guys and a girl, and it's the only Xmas movie I know of to feature a vagina-stabbing. To All a Good Night is a poorly-lit movie about a killer Santa.
