Lowlife

I just got back from L.A. where my dad is having a show in a real live gallery with some photos he took of prostitutes many years back. The Opening Reception was great, and very exciting for him, and people's reactions were overwhelmingly positive. Lily Tomlin showed up.


The show is called Lowlife and it's at the drkrm Gallery. If you live in the Los Angeles area, you should check it out. His photographs are amazing. You can see some examples of the work, and read the accompanying stories at that drkrm link, or at his Blog. And I know "photos of prostitutes" may sound completely safe for work, but they're not really. The show will be up through May 23.
