I was still trying to catch up with all the 2011 movies I hadn't seen yet in February (in order to make my Best Of list), so I didn't have as much time as I would've liked for Friedkin. There are still a few I want to see (Jade, The Hunted, Deal of the Century). And I was hoping to rewatch The French Connection, which I liked when I saw it as a double feature with To Live and Die in L.A. a few years ago, but I barely remember it because the latter film (which I did watch again) overshadowed it in every way. I could use a rewatch on The Exorcist and Bug as well. Anyway, he seems to have a lot of standard quality films, but when he's great, he can be really fucking great. My Top 3 from the rankings below are all about tied as my favorites, and they're each insanely good movies.

And now I'm into Brian De Palmarch. This one I'm determined to really commit to, and I will be watching every single Brian De Palma film, in order. I don't know if I'lll be able to pull off not only watching them all, but writing reviews for every one. If I have to, though, I can always extend it a De Palmonth.
