Top Ten Best Films I Watched for the First Time*
1. Deadly Friend (1986)
2. Mac and Me (1988)
3. Reform School Girls (1986)
4. The Peanut Butter Solution (1985)
5. Captain EO (1986)
6. The Six Thousand Dollar Nigger (1979)
7. Memento (2000)
8. Death Spa (1990)
9. Boxer's Omen (1983)
10. The Fly (1986)

*Some of these I had seen before at some point in my life, but I either didn't remember them or was affected by them in a different way this year, so it felt like "the first time." This doesn't include 2011 releases, by the way.
Also, and this isn't related to the asterisk, but I saw three of these films within a 24 hour period, which is kind of crazy.

Pie Charts
I normally do Countries and Ratings as well, but they always look exactly the same every year, so it doesn't seem that interesting anymore. I know Decades and Formats also look essentially the same every year, but I like them more.

Full breakdown of formats
35mm: 110
DVD: 56
Blu-ray: 13
Roku/Instant: 36
TV: 3
VHS: 6
DCP: 31
Projected Blu-ray/Other HD: 16
Projected DVD: 10
IMAX: 1
Download/DVD-R: 21
70mm: 1
16mm: 2
Laserdisc: 1
Of those, 10 were in 3D (9 DCP, 1 70mm)

As for Countries, the places I watched the most films from besides the US are the UK, Canada, Germany, and France.

As for Ratings, I liked 94% of everything, and didn't see a single film I hated.
